This is actually one of my older illusions (1991), but the look is brand new. I've always called this one "Twilight Zone," and always used the music "Twilight Tone" while performing it. And, I always WANTED it to have a Twilight Zone look, but--until recently--the printing technology just wasn't up to the job.
This is my complete, unedited routine for Metamorphosis, the Fastest Illusion in the World. This was when I opened for comedians Greg Hahn and Dave Dugan in Oxford, IN.
Here's another Illusion we performed at Hoosier Park Casino in Anderson, IN. This is edited to just the "magic" part of the routine. My new assistant (Lexie) and I only had three weeks to rehearse.

Submitted for your approval, one Illusion. This is my take on this unique piece of magic. This is also the very first time my new assistant, Lexie, performed for an audience. Hoosier Park Casino; Anderson, IN.
From June of '94...this was a special event for Dove Pontiac in Connersville, IN. Rusty has twelve seconds to escape from a nailed coffin before a pick-up truck destroys the casket, with Rusty inside. Special thanks to friends and support crew David Champe, Kevin Hamilton, Tim Bruner, and (the voice of WCNB) Mike Peacock.
Rusty's homage to the greatest magician and escape artist of all time...Harry Houdini.

Rusty uses his love of super heroes to show how easy magic can be, if you're The Flash!

Wow! What a flash from the past! My comedy magic was part of this variety show called "Grin 'n Bear It" at The Good Times Theater, on the property of Bearcreek Farms Resort in Bryant, Indiana. This show ran during the summer of 1989.

In May of 2008, Rusty realized his lifelong dream of being invited to appear at The World Famous Magic Castle. Here is Part 1 of his performance in the Parlour of Prestidigitation.
